Remilia

Remilia is a net art collective that Charlotte Fang founded in 2021 and runs as Remilia Corporation. Its first collection, Milady Maker, came out on Ethereum in August 2021: 10,000 generative profile pictures in what Remilia calls a neochibi style, dressed after street fashion tribes. Redacted Remilio Babies followed, another 10,000 characters pitched as Milady for boys.

In May 2022 a pseudonymous user tied Fang to Miya, an earlier online persona accused of bullying users and of racist and antisemitic posts. Fang confirmed running the account, called it performance art and stepped back from the team. Milady prices collapsed, and more than a thousand holders sold that week. Trading surged again a year later, when Elon Musk posted a Milady meme in May 2023.

In April 2023 Remilia launched Bonkler in Tokyo, a new piece auctioned every 23 hours that holders could burn to redeem ETH from its treasury. That September Fang said a developer had diverted Remilia's Bonkler fees. Fang sued three former contractors in Nevada, and four former contributors countersued in Delaware, saying they were co-founders. After a token presale in June 2024, Remilia launched CULT on Ethereum that December and airdropped part of the supply to holders of its collections. It also publishes a quarterly magazine and runs a record label, and Fang leads it as chief executive.
