Verse Visual #01: Rain Studies

Something happens when it rains in the city, if you take the time to look.

Something primal, something ancient and old, reminds us that the city isn’t separate from nature, but a complex expression of the same.

Pull your eyes away from the skyscrapers and storefronts and flashing advertisements that fight for your attention,

cast your vision down into the sudden rivers that flow around your feet, and let your mind fall into reflection.

From every drop a ring, rippling out towards all others, to overlap and collide and collapse, each affecting another, a technicolor map of the unfolding entropy of our universe.

Life is made richer by that special way to see, with an eye towards the cosmic threads that run through everything around us.
