Nolly Blackheart

Hello, dear ones! This piece is rather old (like 6 years old :D), but takes special place in my heart. It was done for my friend's Birthday with my very first tablet. ^.^ It was also the first color illustration I made and later helped me get a job as a designer and illustrator. ^.^ I remember how excited I was when took the tablet in my hands for the first time. I was literally shaking even though didn't know how to use it... :D funny thing is no one taught me how to make digital drawings. The Department of Industrial Design where I was a student had variety of subjects (incl. Graphic design, Aesthetics, Product design, Arts, etc.) but didn't include digital illustration (we mostly learned the traditional methods). I'm not against this curriculum but I find it lacking for those who want to evolve in digital arts. Anyway, It was long and hard self-taught period of my life. But it's worth it. ^^ She's character of The Inexplicit project made by my friend Rossy and me. She's not entirely human. ^.^ Really hope you like her.
