farewell mexico

I spent the month of February 2018 in Mexico City. It was my second time in Mexico. I recall arriving, riding in a cab from the airport to Condesa with a warm feeling, an anticipation to the renewal of my past experience. In this trip I became acquainted with the flow of time in the city that took place with familiarising myself with new neighbourhoods. In particular were the canals of Xochimilco and the painted boats. While personally I saw no need to experience them again with the exception of introducing them to others, I felt a need to express this experience through forms. This piece is a farewell to the feeling of unfamiliarity of a place and culture that I now feel compelled to visit again and again.
