Eurybia's Breath

I love working in black and white. I often call my black and white drawings and illustrations my zen meditation, as is is a calming break from working with colour. I love the star contrast of dark and light and creating a moment in time with only black on the page inspires me.

This piece came about as a prompt from an online challenge. I chose to address the seasons by giving my view of Eurybia, the Titan Goddess in Greek mythology, who represented the mastery of the sea. Though her voice is of the sea her mind is often lost in the sky and land.
