I want to offer you three photos, which together contain the essence of a special trip out of which grew one of my stories - and songs. They are:
Lorelei - Golden Songs Lorelei - Half of the Sun Lorelei - Two RealmsSome years ago we were travelling the Rhine. An unforgettable journey... Old castles and cities dotted the fascinating landscape at every bend of the magnificent river around the lush vineyards flowing down the lush hillsides! And... the Legends!
I began work on a story and song then. But something was missing... and eventually I had to put it aside.
Then, several years later, we were on vacation at Fuerteventura. And I went on long walks by the endless, beautiful seashores. And there the song and its story finally crystallised itself! A fantasy, inspired by both the Rhine and by the mysterious, almost ethereal landscape of Fuerteventura! A mix of opposites... ;)
You can read the story on my blog, here: https://rainbowmusic.blog/2019/10/13/a-lorelei-fantasy/
And as a special treat for you, a personal performance of the song by me: https://youtu.be/DpnMax4q7BA
