This moon was about to be mined for its valuable metal resources to send back to earth or down to the Martian surface. The last Mission made the first fast-food joint built, now his temporary home. A hotel was nearly built on Mars, being a start to make the planet a future vacation destination. For this astronaut, it felt like home, as he sipped his coffee, with donuts.
When the Mission crew suddenly realized he wasn't aboard, a rescue plan devised for his return, was aborted, since he had no intention to go back. Thus, NASA III Control classified him a deserter, shirking his duties. His last message was he had enough supplies plus a one-person Space-Jet craft to fly himself back to the Mars main Base. NASA stated the next official Mission would not be for another year. Would he survive until then?
