8-Bit Rice Bowl

8-Bit Rice Bowl is part of Carguin's Genesis NFT Art Series of "Golden Rice Bowl"

The word“rice bowl” is equivalent to one’s job/career; “golden rice bowl” means a great job; “iron rice bowl” means a steady, government job.

When I was a kid, my dad once tore up my sketchbook and told me that art will not earn me any rice. I still remember the torn up drawings vividly, and recreated them in the piece “Manga rice bowl.” This collection is my way of healing from that trauma and acknowledging those who’ve had their career choices in art denied. The different styles represent what I do as a concept artist by trade. Creating rice bowls as NFTs allows me to create art as a form of digital money, confronting the age-old question “can art make money?” for parents out there wondering the same for their children.

This is a followup series of the Golden Rice Bowl collection from Carguin. Her genesis NFT Arts in the "Golden Rice Bowl" series was sold out on MakersPlace.

The 8-bit Rice bowl depicts the gaming aesthetic, and that resonates well with her given her in-depth experience and journey in the gaming space. There are many NFT collectors love games or are gamers, this piece should resonate well with the community.

Final bid of value greater than 5 ETH will come with physical high quality HD Metal print (20x30cm or 30x45cm of your choice). The print will be custom made with a specific side of the bowl of your preference, a truly unique physical 1 edition snapshot and companion of this amazing digital NFT. It will be autographed by artist Carguin.
