Agapanthus, is the third artwork in a larger series about flowers.
The Agapanthus is known as a flower that represents love. However, there are many kinds of love and a single flower can not represent the entirety of love we experience throughout life. The Agapanthus teaches us that eternal love exists in the world, and it can be ours as long as we are willing to protect it.
This work explores the harmonious relationship between algorithms, mathematics, nature, and beauty.
Every leaf, flower, and ornamental detail in this artwork has been created by using a custom build procedural system. The woman herself has been sculpted by hand
This artwork was created in June 2021. It was produced using Houdini, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Adobe Photoshop, and Octane Render
