Paeonia, is the fifth and final artwork in an exploration series about flowers.
The peony is a work of exquisite beauty and complexity. As if aware of itself and its presence, the flower quickly takes over any room with its sweet fragrance. The peony reminds us that beautiful things are worth protecting and nurturing. But it also begs the question, who protects the protector?
This work explores the harmonious relationship between algorithms, mathematics, nature, and beauty.
Every leaf, flower, and ornamental detail in this artwork has been created by using a custom build procedural system. The woman herself has been sculpted by hand
This artwork was created in July 2021. It was produced using Houdini, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and Octane Render
