This piece helped me through a difficult time.
When the pandemic hit, I worried for my family, I warned them all to take it seriously and gave them all the information I had on how to protect themselves.
But it wasn't enough.
My parents got COVID while celebrating their anniversary. My father ended up in the hospital with a severe case. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. We would receive some good news, followed by some bad news. Rinse, repeat.
We watched and waited for nearly a month. I could not relax, I was on pins and needles just waiting, waiting. This fox helped me get through the difficult time. I could find peace in quietly sitting, working on the fur while we waited for some sign of outcome. My father succumbed in August 2020.
50% of the funds this fox brings in will go to Doctors Without Borders. My life is closer to normal now thanks to the vaccine, but there are so many others living this nightmare, and I want to help ensure that more people will see their loved ones recover from this terrible virus.
