Street scenes from Chinatown London 2020. Time is nearing for the pandemic to hit the City. For the moment it is Lunar New Year in Chinatown and as part of the Chinese tourists have left, the streets are rather quiet on a serene Winter night.
In the Jinli photograph and the subsequent GIF, I am thrilled by the almost frozen moment where the diners are both moving and frozen at the same time. The window and its place spring out as a big display on its own right helps to reinforce this feeling - here in art and also out there on the street.
