Special, animated artwork for Part One of 'Fountellion in the Spiral' a collection of speculative VR writings about an evolving, open-world, immersive nature survival game, or form of VRMMORPG.
There are powers and levels to the game, but it is also said to illuminate our place in nature, the force of evolution and what it means to survive by way of experience through achieving the 'insights'. Players are said to emerge from the game with greater awareness about many things.
The original static image was commissioned with guidelines by the author from Martina Stipan, a Photoshop artist with many works online.
It features the character Greenwise, possibly AI NPC or at times also inhabited by experienced players, who acts as a guide to the fabric and experience of Fountellion, plus some of the animals (and hunter Stoker) encountered in the writings.
Part One 'The Nature of the Game and Progression One' is available free online.
