Fine Art speaks to my soul and I use photography as a way to express my ideas. Woman With A Pearl Earring was inspired by the painting "Girl With A Pearl Earring" by Johannes Vermeer. The more I kept looking at the original painting I wondered what that girl's life was like. I questioned if she lived a full life and what dreams she had. Did she follow them?
So in my world of imagination I wanted to bring to life a version of her as an adult woman, with the same pose, same lighting and proportions.
The image was photographed, edited and styled by Roberta Montagnini.
