This piece was originally based on an oil painting i had done around 1998 and sold to a friend. Since he wouldn’t sell it back to me i was forced to contemplate if i could re-do that piece (never a good idea, the paintings never capture the same magic). years later, after a crash course in Photoshop i promised to re-do my missing paintings digitally, so with mouse in hand(yes, i was on my way down the carpal tunnel already!) i set about clicking and clicking away ultimately recreating not the Style painting I set out to do but something entirely different and I love being different so once again, it was on!
