A Young Boy's Dream

I’m proud to share the redesign of my Chadwick Boseman tribute which will be auctioned off in support of The Colon Cancer Foundation later this week. In the new tribute, I’ve wanted to highlight the huge impact Chadwick’s life has had on young Black people everywhere. In the new artwork, you see a young boy walking through a spirit realm inspired by Black Panther and the world of Wakanda. Each altar he walks past celebrates a different role or accomplishment in Chadwick’s life.

I wanted to create a world that is filled with wonder, legacy and soul - just like Chadwick was. It was massively important to me that the piece empower and educate on what we can do when we believe in our creative abilities. Chadwick has set an example for Black creatives of all generations & we should carry his torch with us.
