FORBODE Part 1

The first in an animated short series which follows Miyamoto, an undefeated Samurai warrior whose homeland is rapidly being corrupted by a malevolent force recently come to power. Guided by a personal code of honor, Miyamoto embarks on a quest to find and destroy the source of his homeland's suffering, or die in the attempt. Fear and sadness are set aside as the fabled warrior conquers the demons of his past in order to embrace his destiny.

Artist's Note: This piece was created to capture the feeling one gets when finally deciding to face one's fears. To approach that seemingly undefeatable force, assess it for what it is, accept it for what it is, and what it is not. To continue regardless of the fact that it may be the end of you, lay down that existential fear, and embrace the freedom found in preparing for battle.
