this is my very first animated artwork that I've created in after effects.
the process: one night I spent hours working on this animation. before I started, I opened up my PSD file from my iPad on my laptop and flattened certain layers and saved them as either a JPEG or PNG. then, I uploaded all of files in AE and began animating the person first. I had no idea how I was going to animate this piece, so I just started experimenting with all the different features. I knew I wanted stars so I found a cool way to make this one effect I found look like it was stars. at one point, I was just trying out all the different effects to see what they did and that’s how I created the light beam! I said pause, this is so cool! the next morning, I went back and worked on it some more. then, I randomly decided to create some music for this piece since I do make beats for fun from time to time. this process was a lot but it didn’t feel like it to me. each part was so much fun and I’m so happy how dope this animation turned out!
