Self. The Future. Digital Realm. Eternal Life...
We all humans are unique beings. Each of us. In the age we live in, almost anything can be reproduced and preserved maybe till forever in a form of lifeless, soulless materials. But what about us? The soul, flesh, bones, mind? How we could reproduce our singular beings to eternity before the inevitable end? I see the Digital Realm is the key to eternity for us fragile entities but as a different kind. But then will we be unique still? Could we still speak of singularity? Will the future self be a reproduction of our soulless reflection or will it still contain a part of us?
I always search for a way to transpose myself into the digital world. This piece is my first ever attempt to create a reflection of the self in another Realm by using one of my favorite mediums.
