I like to make my art thought provoking. In this piece, I have used a photographic image of an apple sitting on a shelf in a digital environment that I have created.
The contrast is plain... but have I brought the outdoors inside? The coloured 'sheets' reminded me strongly of the lines of washing drying above the streets in a warm, Mediterranean village... but what of the scale, are there dwellings above? It is an image made to intrigue the viewer.
