New to NFTs but not to digital art, "The Rook" was the first work created in the series & represents my journey into a new creative economy with a whole lot to learn. The work is transitionary piece that blends elements from Simpler Times III with some new techniques that would further develop throughout the series. "The Rook" focuses on an abstracted rendition of Andrea del Verrocchio's David from "David with the head of Goliath" a symbolic reference to the rise of digital artists emerging as valued creators & a disruptive force in the collectible art market.
