I believe most, if not all of us have some types of regret. Some tend to care too much about what others said or may have thought of us and those feelings can linger in the back of or minds for a long time. We can spend a lot of our energy dwelling about the past, instead of let go and moving forward.
This piece was inspired after I had a conversation with someone who has been carrying a burden for years, which turned out (they realised after the conversation) to be something that was actually minuscule than what they initially had in mind.
Don’t let the darkness hold you back from you living your best life. The future is bright!
