The Great Pilgrimage

This is not a religious piece. We all worship something. We are all spiritual beings. Pilgrims searching for answers that we may or may not get. We yearn for connection that allows us to know we're part of something bigger. A higher power beyond us, that can help us and restore us. A higher power we can put our faith in. Humanity has revealed its own weakness and desperation. We don't want to admit that our spirituality is being challenged and stretched in this time of crisis. We are ancient, holy beings. We are made to move with creation: with nature or unfamiliar terrains, at the feet of mountains, among the waves, or under the stars. We are made to retreat to pilgrimage when it's a beautiful day or a dark night.
