Inked poster for Copper Coins horror anthology!

Copper Coins is a horror anthology in the spirit of legendary weird fiction titles like Creepy, Eerie and EC Comics flagship books like Tales From The Crypt. Myself and Minneapolis based author Charles Denton [Blue Flame] co-wrote the first chapter of Copper Coins during much of 2018 and 2019. The story explores a variety of psychological hauntings and the macabre predicaments our protagonists find themselves in as they unknowingly face their deaths.

A lifelong illustrator, my first love has always been comics and to this day, it’s what I do for a living as the Art Director for EOS Detroit. This limited tokenized artwork was the base inks for a promotional poster we included with pledges for the first release of the horror zine. It features a skeleton adorned with jewels and royal garments, symbolizing the human struggle that our earthly belongings will not accompany us to the other side.

This is the first of a series of Copper Coins related artwork I’ll be tokenizing on MakersPlace. Two alternate covers will be minted shortly after this release, along with 8 full pages of comic art. The second issue of the book will be released in 2021. This is a ground level opportunity to own the entire collection. For more on Copper Coins, visit www.coppercoinszine.com
