When I was kid my family had a drawer filled with things that only had one thing in common – they couldn't be categorized easily and were thus relegated to an organizational purgatory. We called it the 'junk drawer' which I always thought sounded a little cruel. I used to rummage through this drawer often to see if I could make something out of these misfit objects, trinkets, and tools. I wanted them to feel useful and needed. This drawing is another attempt at that.
