Unique NFT digital symmetry from my "Extractions of Dionysus" series. This is one of two strikingly different visual “extractions".
Often as I paint in analogue media, distinct corporeal forces contend for dominance in a given image. Whereas in my oil paintings these dichotomies must negotiate, in this digital rendition I have pulled out and purified a related psychological archetype to allow it to dominate the scene.
In "The Fruition of Dionysus", the image represents an essence of fruit, bounty, abundance, vitality, and higher consciousness--having even developed the suggestion of a neo-cortical, bi-hemispheric brain.
The nature in this manifestation exemplifies a more enlightened condition reduced of suffering; a kind of Buddhist deva, centered and benign.
