Moon Girl is a simple piece inspired by the change of day to night, and an exploration to this new style of drawing. The design is cute and family friendly, as well as a reminder that each day is a new day. It composes of a crescent moon, a cloud dress, and a girl who's hair represents everything from earth to sky.
"There once was a girl who sat still on the a crescent stone. There she sat, exiled and alone. For the day went by, and by and by. But nothing ever moved for her in the sky.
Though she sat, floating softly and gently and light, Each day she could admire the beauty of the world below. For in the stars which shine so bright, The girl would witness the sun's journey, so slow.
And as the sun reached the back of this rounded Earth, All the people and all children could finally see her. For some hours, she sits in awe. For in the night, she's not alone at all."
