$-What we have here is the illustration I did for a cover, for a Comicon Exclusive issue of Arsenic Lullaby in Greece. Comicdom Con is the name of their fine show and they were kind enough to have me as a guest.
Arsenic Lullaby (the comic book I'm responsible for) is published there as ΔΗΛΗΤΗΡΙΩΔΕΣ ΝΑΝΟΥΡΙΣΜΑ by Jemma Press.
To mark the the event I hid an outline of the U.S. in the leaves in the tree middle left, and an outline of Greece in the tree, middle right. Sometimes I do little things like that just for fun. Although, illustrating a parody scene where the A.L. version of Alice in Wonderland falls victim the the A.L. version of xenomorph chest bursters is pretty fun to begin with.
This was originally inked by hand with a brush at roughly 13x10 inches. A little nerve wracking to do the patterns in the mushrooms that way, but the rest of the detailing would have not turned out as well with any other tool. Coloring done with photoshop.
