Power of the Pyramids

Whilst temple trekking a lone novice explorer stumbles into a patch of quicksand, not knowing how to traverse the sand, they accepted fate as it was laid.

An unspecified amount of time has passed as our explorer wakens in some sort of tomb, maybe a vault, a final resting place? Although still living, there is no perceivable way out, just an endless looping corridor with a single monolithic-type object emitting feint waves of sound & light.

This is a custom created Ethereum logo designed in Zbrush. My goal was to create the eth symbol with an esoteric twist, kind of necronomicon vibes. On each side of model there are mouths placed in the center accompanied by 3 spider-eyes on corresponding corners, there is also ornate detailing done on the faces of the model, inspired by Venetian/Victorian era picture frames. Base material is an unpolished marble with some grunge detailing accompanied by gold and black metal materials on the accents of our model.

The overall concept of the model was to create a visually appealing, yet somewhat archaic/dark themed 'mysterious' object lost forever to time, trapped or locked away in the far corners of the world for an unknowing explorer to discover.
