'Force of Change' (moving)

Part of 'greenwise' series attempting to illustrate evolutionary forces or interactions. Elements include: symbol for growth in centre, turning sails of death influencing the forms and flame of life, humankind tendency towards complexity (provided environmental conditions and our capacity to adapt allow for this), Charles Darwin's original outlines of 'tree of life', personal symbols highlighting the need for greater awareness of our interconnection with other species. Evolution forces change but only where the ring of environment changes. It can also force species to devolve and lose characteristics previously favored, hence expansion and contraction. Evolution in this way is also merciless as it is inexorable. Our basic existence is part of process: to carry energy, to nourish the earth and continue life's ripple in an ocean of time. Is this meaning? It just is.
