During my childhood I always saw books in my house because my father used to read a lot. He had several libraries with all kinds of topics and I used to read them especially the art-related ones. From this moment, the books were very special to me since they reminded me of him. I like to animate common things because it’s my way to show the beauty of our daily life. I want people to take a break from the saturation of photos and videos in general. In this piece, I use a book to create the illusion of a door and animated frame-by-frame through stop motion. Each page was drawn from a self portrait.
