Buy art, the billboard.

Visual Toy made for the Creative Debuts artists collective to celebrate the new gallery opening in London at Curtain Road in 2017. It is a unique edition of which five signed and numbered editions printed on paper were auctioned, frames from the animation were selected for printing. This visual toy thus constitutes the original cigar from which these popular editions were taken and is established as well as the most exclusive Visual Toy due to its unique and specific theme. The work reproduces and interprets the most popular slogan of this group that served as a slogan for both the opening exhibition as well as other events in London.

For this I create a building / machine / factory / billboard that includes the slogan, logo and brand of the group. All united by references to the dead artist, like the fish that is a tribute to the amazing Coffins from Ghana's, also an artist with his beret and sticking out his tongue as recently dead as in cartoon style. Also the reference to the great dead artists with two iconographic works inside a screen, thus bringing them to the present again, a technological present. To all this is added my machinery and characteristic neons that produce magical effects and results, as well as the roller coaster that displaces money, pounds in this case, from the classic artist to the current one as the slogan invites.

A unique and exclusive Visual Toy made with digital tablet in Photoshop and animated in After Effects. For the first time it is on sale in a single edition. ------ More about the international awards, exhibitions and the work of Javier Arrés Visit: https://javierarres.com/about.html
