$-This Visual toy is the second one dedicated to the magnificent country of Singapore after my visit as an international invited artist to the first Asian Gif-Art festival that was held there. In this case I was inspired by a mobile spicy food stall, one of those stalls that are so popular in Asia, colorful and eye-catching, a stall perhaps within a bustling, noisy major market with incessant lights and sounds. I reinterpret it to my style, surreal and fun, with a fancy advertising mechanism that looks like a fairground attraction or a vintage articulated advertisement to pay tribute and homage to its gastronomic culture and the passion of the Singaporean for spicy food. You could say "A Singaporean Who Doesn't Take Spicy Food is Not Singaporean". So I invite you to come to my stand and try my star dish, so spicy that it will make you blow fire through your ears. The most crazy and fun mobile food stand you can find.
This visual toy joins others in the collection that include gastronomic themes, recurring in my work because it fascinates me, since it always represents a very strong cultural element of a society, as Spanish gastronomy is something deeply rooted in the culture of my country and I value it strongly as an iconographic element of other cultures.
A unique and exclusive Visual Toy made with digital tablet in Photoshop and animated in After Effects. For the first time it is on sale in a single edition. ------ More about the international awards, exhibitions and the work of Javier Arrés Visit: https://javierarres.com/about.html
