It was late in the 2019, having the warmest winter in ages and we barely had any snow, till that day it came heavy. I was having one of those lethargic days and wasn't feeling like doing anything. Looking through the window and watching the chunky flakes falling and thrown with strong wind provided further excuse to just chill inside. There was however a little spark inside that wanted to experience that great natural phenomenon. So i did go for a walk to the nearby woods and the wind settled soon to gentle levels. It was quite an amazing feeling standing there among the trees and unbroken field of powdery snow. So quiet and serene, yet very powerful, you could say a spiritual moment. Afterwards i was feeling very inspired to create something from that experience and this is the result. Midwinter Rite, digital drawing, 2019
