Digital animation based on my artwork "Sie wollen Gewinn'" (https://peakD.com/art/@reinhard-schmid/they-want-to-win-my-glass-painting-for-the-international-peace-art-exhibiton-2010)
The original painting on glass was made for the IPAX 2010 (International Peace Art Exhibition). It raises the question, whether peace is something we can take for granted, or something that needs to be actively pursued.
Plato already formulated the idea for the Latin phrase: "Si vis pacem para bellum" (If you want peace, prepare for war).
Therefore my dove of peace also wears an armor, trying to protect against the monster of war. Power and money is both the link and the decisive factor for what the machine in the background is ultimately spinning for.
