Proxima

The closest one to our Sun. You can't see it with the naked eye. It's far away for us. And at the same time close. With flashes and oscillations and radiation in all ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum. An unsteady star and fickle, as it should be. It looks too dull in the sky. It abruptly changes its brightness, its luster, its energy explodes, in the upper layers where the atmosphere. There are planets all around it. Lifeless at first sight. But anything can be. The triple star system. It is alive in its own way. And the one closest to the Sun, it's as if it's alone, accidentally being there. A quirk rare in nature, exotic, mysterious Proxima.
