Own Religion Tour. Free Tickets available

This Visual Toy is inspired and dedicated all to religious beliefs. From the title, my vision about religions in general is clear. An own belief of each one absolutely respectable but that I capture as a fairground attraction, an amusement park, where you choose if you want to ride the roller coaster and enjoy or not the experience of that religion. Also as Visual Toy it is presented as a possible religious object or toy, something that in itself is rare, toy and religion rarely go hand in hand. Can you play and have fun with a religion? Probably yes, but it is not the game and entertainment its main weapon of attraction. I also invite you to imagine your own religion. Although the main character, his clothing and accessories, are inspired by the Catholic religion, more specifically in a promotional image for Sorrentino's brilliant series, The Young Pope, it is not intended to be any real religion. His hand making an impossible, unknown and strange gesture of blessing also makes us imagine new religious variants and also its undeniable condition of spectacle and universe of symbols and gestures. You can pray or ask favors for this Visual Toy, entrust yourself to it or project your own values and ideas of morals and ethics on this Gif-Art. It is a springboard to imagine what you want, like all my work.

It should be borne in mind that as an Andalusian I have been visually very influenced also by Easter, "Semana Santa Andaluza", a world-famous festival, its images and its undeniable spectacularity, its infinite ornaments and complex decoration of thrones and religious imagery in general that I always saw as a child as a visually very powerful show.
