She’s more than an icon: Queen Elizabeth II is a Living Legend, and here’s my personal tribute to Her Majesty.
Inspired by Court portraits by Velazquez, van Eyck and van Dyck, the artwork is based on pixelation and pixel sorting, and looks like a sort of 'new cubism' artwork. Study for a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II | 001 has been created in landscape format (16:9 aspect ratio), so you can display it on your TV screen in order to add an artistic touch to your wall or living room. And yes, you can also display it on your PC/MAC desktop.
Why I'm asking you to pay a price for this artwork? Because I firmly believe in the value of digital art and also because this is an Edition of 1: it means it is a truly unique digital creation, and I will never ever create or sell a piece like this again.
