Number 5 and the final edition of my "CAVITY CREEPS" series represents a warping of the ASICS Tiger logo to communicate the energy usage inherent in proof-of-work cryptocurrency mining and specifically calling attention to the farms of application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) miners that perpetually and inefficiently burn energy "solving math problems" to make our magic internet money.
Downplaying or spinning energy consumption in the context of the climate crisis probably indicates consuming so much of the crypto Kool-Aid that an anthropomorphic pitcher filled with the juice is about to bust out of your chest...
It also demonstrates refusal to behave objectively about the subject, instead choosing to let a stronger belief system override rational thought process.
