Monstrosity #126 - Combustive Corruption

Monstrosity #126 is passive by nature but also quite volatile. If disturbed beyond its routine of stacking and eating igneous rocks, this creature can cause quite a bit of damage. Between its armored plates #126 secretes a pyrophoric ooze. When threatened, the plates on its body will open and expose this substance to the air causing an explosion of flame up to a quarter mile radius. This is not always this Monstrosity's last resort. Furthering its combustive nature, it can spew a jet of flame from its tail with impressive aim and agility. This Monstrosity is typically found near volcanic activity. Although its claws are formidable looking, they are primarily used to only break apart lava rock and forage. When grouped with others of its kind, a terraforming phenomenon has been noted to happen—expanding volcanic activity to areas unlikely.
