Hotel Diary - Staircase I ArtNovo

The series of NFT’s Hotel Diary is a chronicle of a love affair set in deserted interiors of a Los Angeles Rendon hotel. A long forgotten encounter between two lovers comes to life through fragments of real and imagined recollections of former owners and inhabitants.

Hotel Diary - Staircase, the infinite arrival of the female protagonist, is the centerpiece of the series, which will be followed by scenes from different rooms, hallways and lobbies of the hotel.

Shot with the static camera to make the footage look similar to that of surveillance cameras, the video gives the impression of indifference or neutrality, but also of invading somebody's privacy. It is a voyeuristic view of events that are taking place behind semi-closed doors and windows with drawn curtains.
