#MeToo is a social movement originating among women, advocating for survivors of sexual harassment or violence to speak out about their experiences in order to expose and combat various forms of sexual misconduct.

The #MeToo movement was big in its day. I was a part of this movement. It had a great meaning. It had a great purpose.

BUT like any other idea, someone had to ruin it. People were abusing the movement. They were using it to gain their own advantages, take revenge, etc without there actually being a cause for their complaints.

So the #MeToo movement, like any other movement had a great purpose but was painted badly in some light. Just remember if you have ever been a victim of sexual abuse to speak out. Don't sit in silence. Find your voice and find a way to get out!
