Monstrosity #39 - Drowsy Departure

The next time you are on a hike with the wind in your face while enjoying the rustle of plants and trees, beware of your steps, because you may find yourself bumbling towards your own grave. The frequency that Monstrosity #39 emits will penetrate the mind of any living being and lure them to their doom. Once within this Monstrosity's lair, the victim will slumber--as the body lies, it will diminish from the elements and lack of sustenance. The unique sound from #39 keeps its victims mind very much aware, allowing it to feed off the mania and pain of the suffering psyche. Once the brain finally perishes, this creature constricts the head off the quarry with the appendage between its ears, then cores out the inside of the skull with its retractable maw.
