Eyes, The Window To The Soul

The eyes are the windows to the soul. Since prehistoric times, many philosophers and writers have attributed a special importance to the eyes. We think of them as being able to speak without words. Great artists since the Renaissance masters have represented the eye with mysterious intensity, making it impossible for us to look at it without experiencing an emotional response.

12 inches X 16 inches “I see you”—not just your physical form but who you truly are beyond what is visible. My painting, Eyes the window to the soul, will remind you of how your eyes can be an open door to your inner most thoughts. The subject matter is the most unique and intense of all my paintings. Eyes are windows to all the secrets of a person's mind and the intensity with which one gazes at someone is a reflection of what one feels. To me this particular painting will always remain rare because of its complex expression of feeling, love, envy and lamentation in the eyes. Not only may you see it as a window to a person's soul, but as an analyst you may also read several different aspects of this painting other than just a face.
