The title 'Counterpoint' was inspired by the Korean television series Beethoven Virus. As the name suggests it is about music - revealing all sides of music from composition to performance. I was enthralled and moved by this 18 ep series. In Ep.16, Scenes 14.02 > 17.02 there was a class on counterpoint in composition which was wonderfully explained and demonstrated. I completed this picture I listening to Bach's Piano Preludes and Fugues - played by Tatiana Nikolayeva. On reflection I ought to have been listening to music by Beethoven but this was a random choice at the time which suited my evolving theme. The image emerged from my imaginings and life.
