Series 4 of 4: On the Last Day of a Golden Summer In another collaboration with Phatpuppy, "On the Last Day of a Golden Summer" falls in place 4 of 4 images we worked on together that include my daughter, Mary.
This one has a special place in my heart as it was not only our first collaborative effort, but the first professional photo I took of her. The title is significant as it signifies the beginning words in "Pooh's Grand Adventure". Ever since she was just a few weeks old, she has loved Winnie the Pooh. That movie in particular is about being braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. In one memorable moment Pooh promises Christopher Robin to be with him, "forever". As a mom, I can't promise that to my daughter, but I can promise to be there for her as long as I am able. I hope this picture lives as a memory of my love.
