Basking in the Sun was inspired by my love of puppies and my love of hot summer days at the beach. As a child, my family took an annual vacation, almost always in July, to the beach near Jacksonville, Florida. I have so many great memories of those vacations. We found so much pleasure in the simple things then, like sitting on the beach and listening to the wind and surf. This piece was AI-inspired, with additional editing in Photoshop, and includes a geometrical abstract glitch piece on the sand, as a beach towel or mat.
