Emma

Collection "Monuments" immersed the viewer in a universe in black and white where natural monuments reign and where a fantastic sun sparkles with thousands of colors or irradiated black and white pulsing waves. The future holds many different stories. What would be yours if you could walk these paths in thousands of years? The world has changed, it looks devastated and deserted and yet hope can be felt, beauty can be found. Time seems to be suspended. You are standing on the top a hill, looking around silently witnessing what the world became. The harsh landscape tells the story of earth. No birds singing nor trees bending under the wind. You are surrounded by giants, and you cannot take your eyes off the mysterious sun.

Emma My name is Emma. From the top of the hill I’m looking at an ancient road that marks the landscape like a stigmata. It reminds me of what was the earth before what we call the Event. It was lively, colorful, joyful even sometimes. We are only few left and we are not sure of what happened. But one day colors disappeared except for a sparkling sun over the black and white valleys. Mesmerized by the sun Emma finally break the spell and turns back.
