Children of the Dark

We are the children of the dark. We have been through hell and we came back. We have tamed our demons, and they now ride along us, through this scorched earth. We have found the key to the portal that once locked our fragile hearts. Our unrequited love now has made us stronger. Now we know how to control the thoughts and the demon within.

This particular art is about unrequited or incomplete love, and how it breaks a person, to the point where life feels like living hell. It takes a lot of time to gain control over the demons in your head, and get yourself out of that dark place mentally. But once you find the key, it becomes easier. The key is to prioritize yourself over anything or anyone else. Dont give someone else that much power over your heart, that their absence breaks it into pieces. Once you realize that, things start getting in line for your healing process.

So go ahead, let those demons ride along, but never overpower you.
