Departed In Dimensional

In this work the run is toward everywhere, in each place, on each side of the spectrum. But at the same time, it cannot move. It can only see and achieve as much as it can. It is Departed in the Dimension. As we face with the difficulties of life, on one end we try to be ourselves and enjoy it, while our “other” person inside our head tells us to have fun, live in the moment. When I started a job as a student out of university, and working has left me little time to enjoy myself, so I tried to get less sleep-in order to do so. This piece depicts that. Movement everywhere, but standing still, not moving forward. My run to meet both ends before time runs out as soon, we are old and don’t achieve what we want while we are young. It was at the times when things were taught that I decided to make this artwork, as I was torn between myself. Why the second head? That is the mind that its our fight against the ordinary way things are done in our modern society. That is our freedom.
